Charges

You can pay for your parking by phone using the MiPermit system. This also allows you to extend your stay without returning to your car. Please click here for more details. You can also still pay with coins or a card.

There are a number of bays that are reserved for permit-holders that should not be used by other visitors.

Monthy and annual permits are available for Sports Centre and Civic Hall (Whitehaven) and Chapel Street (Egremont). A seven-day permit is also available for St Bees Foreshore. Further details are available on both permit schemes.

Parking fines

We enforce parking violations in our own car parks. You can pay a parking fine, or lodge an appeal against a parking fine.
