A huge new mural now welcomes visitors to Egremont.
The mural, depicting local traditions, is on the side of the DeMounters building, beside the main road through the town.
It has been made possible with Copeland Council's Welcome Back Funding.
The mural shows Egremont Castle, the greasy pole, a crab apple tree, a trail hound, a rugby union cap, a miner's lamp, a cricket ball and a fish.
It was created by Cumbrian street artists Beardy Synergy.
Copeland Council's Welcome Back Fund co-ordinator, Jenny Brumby, said: "We've had fantastic feedback so far. It's very striking and makes a spectacular entrance from the south end of the town."
The Welcome Back fund aims to boost the look and feel of high streets and seaside towns. The funding helps councils prepare for the safe return of shoppers and tourists following the pandemic.
